Regarding the Mega Trainer 1.0.0.1 (10.26.2010), Instant Repair Mech, Super Mech, Un....

i know im doing this right, but when i download the trainer for either of the patched versions of the game, they wont extract. all i get is a blank folder. and if i reboot while i have these files on my hard drive, it crashes my computer. am i doing something wrong?

disable/uninstall all av, firewall and other security software.

I swear I am going to make that my sig.

i only run AV when needed, and i dont use firewalls. its still not working. and its the only one from the site that doesent

I don't think this should be happen. I am also not using a firewall and for me it is working good. Check the system firewall as well and reinstall the AV again. Might help you...

nope. firewall is disables, rather than off, AV is uninstalled, and i've done everything short of a format of the system. the trainer will extract from the zipped file, but, will not show up in the folder created by the unzip process. it does this for both versions of the patched trainer. the original file comes thru fine, but crashes my game since the versions are different

You may need to temporarily uninstall your AV product as some modules of AV products cannot be disabled completely.
