Yeh man tried that, now going to see how it goes after the latest patchwork. Dying to get into the game, and see if it lives up to the original.

A word to the OP, just because a game is crashing for you does NOT mean it is buggy, it is possible your hardware has a fault, or there is a bad combination.

The problem with developing on a PC platform is there is so many hardware combinations it is impossible to design a game around every single brand and model of GPUs, CPUs and Sound Cards out there.

There is also the possibility software you have installed and running may be causing problems with the game itself.


Yes games can be released buggy, but since only a small percentage of people have had problems with this game I am going to say something with your PC or something installed (or not installed) is causing you problems.

Howaya man,

Small percentage of people? Thats why there was 6 patches within 5 days or so? Had a look at a few threads floating around the cosmos about this title? Not discounting your ideas, considering i've pretty much re-installed and re jigged drivers, o.s etc. Since the new patch that they brought out today (21 st), seems to be working quite well. System specs are in me oul profile. As with cal's linked article on patches, seems like us poor oul pc heads are just gonna have to take the oul wait till they fix the titles. Pity for you guys though, getting pretty well hammered refixing the items etc.
