See... this is all because some arrogant programmer thinks that we should NOT save our games at will. They want you to have to go back over stuff instead of saving.

Take me back to the days of games that allowed saving at will in different slots. Then if one save got corrupted you simply loaded the one behind it, swore a few times, and proceeded.

What I want is games I can save at will. If there is a file that does that, lead me to it!

Well I miss those days too.
You would think since they knew they'd be porting the game to pc, that a quick save function might be useful.

So I got fed up when on my first playthrough the game crashed at Lvl 13, then 14 etc.

I suspected it might have something to do with quests accepted from one level are uncompleted then you move to another level. But I proved myself wrong By reloading a backup save.

fix your saves by opening them in the save editor and resave. done.
