I bought the steam Deluxe Edition yesterday cause it had a 75% sale, but when I went to run the trainer I found when I hit the F1 key to activate it keep repeating Trainer Activated in the background, and I mean it repeated it over and over. If you are having this issue too this may work for you too.
NOTE I tried every trick they suggested.

1. I have win7 so made admin rights, right click Trainer, Options, Compatible tab, Run as Administrative.

2. When playing Civ5 have steam in off online mode. Open Steam, click in top left corner Steam scroll, select Go offline. Steam well restart, (If you want to play in online later select steam, go online)

3. Run trainer, gun game, and it should stop with that Activation repeating voice.

doesnt seem to work for me still just the same as before

Please install the latest AC3filter and latest directshow filters (CCCP is the easiest way to do this).

Also please uninstall QuickTime player as it has been known to cause audio problems before.

Went to online statues with Steam and tried it and that did the trick thanks.

Well after a few days it worked now it doing the same thing even in offline mode. I would appreciate it if someone tell me what i need or what i am doing wrong.

i am having same problem. It was working fine and recently it started to have problem. After activating the trainer it repeats "on" and "off".

any help in this will be much appreciated

The exact same thing is happening to me, a fix would be greatly appreciated.

I just wanted to ask if anyone has come up with a fix to this problem yet?

I am having the same activated then deactivated problem.

If I press a key I get the voice sound "activated" then I hear a pop sound then the voice says "deactivated".

It was working fine when I first started using it, which is strange.

Any help would be great.

I am using a retail version too, if that helps.
