Megan Reed didn't put any augmentations into Adam at all, she was kidnapped at the time of his surgery and thought to be dead by the rest of the world.
Anyways, if I were Adam? I'd rather date Malik. Malik's a great woman, spunky, beautiful, and that leather suit she wears is tight and /hot/. She obviously doesn't mind augmentations either given her profession and that she's got discreet flying augmentation enhancements.
Adam isn't a loser either, if he wanted a woman he could definitely get one in a flash. The C.A.S.I.E. augmentation would probably be invaluable in getting some.

Yeah, you maybe right. I may have misunderstood the conversation after the namir battle. She did say she used his dna to bond some living tissue or something. Hugh was aware of the kidnapping and also he was one of the people who give the "go ahead" augmentation to Adam so he will live. Also during the operation, there is a womans voice who keep saying "I'm sorry and I love you".
She was kidnap by namir under Hugh's orders(?) and he seems to have a higher rank than Sarif, he can certainly go behind Sarif's back to experiement on Adam. The kidnapping was real, but I beleive Adam was brought to her so she can test him further by implanting the augmentations on him. Her research after all is only theory until she can proved it actually work. And it worked on him since he lives. That is how I understood the story.

I guess none of you read the six issue comic book that ties into the game then. Hint Adam gets a new girl and it shows he and Malik are closer than the game shows. Also shows you how conflicted as Adam thinks he is a machine with flashbacks into his past. Sadly none of it made it into the game.
Sadly I have not seen this comic and never heard of it either. Plus never everything from books or comics are in games or movies or TV series for that matter.

SPOILER: Adam was made in a lab to be one or two steps ahead of humanity in evolution, quite by accident Megan discovered that Adam's body wouldn't reject augmentation and so his DNA was the key to making universal augmentations a possiblity.
Anyways, he was sort of dreaming about a past lover in those scenes when he was getting the augment surgeries. Anyways, I didn't really notice any hints about that in the comic? I'd love for him to be close to Malik though, she was awesome.
Oh yeah I remember those images in that part. Am actually wondering who that is. Cause I do not think its Reed unless she be blonde at that time.
