Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War - Soulstorm Message Board  

It won't be long now, until the latest installment of WG number 2 comes out. The title is Marine, as if we could expect anything more. Really it doesn't matter, I donot intend to buy it. The only game I ever purchased in the number 2 series was Retribution, which I like but still have trouble using it on Steam at times. I'm writing this on the page of my favorite War Hammer game of all time Soulstorm. This was the final old style WH game and to me the best. I still play the old series from Winter Assault to Soulstorm all the time and will continue to do so. In my opinion, the War Hammer people messed up big time changing their format and going with Steam. I admit, the graphics are superior but the maps and story line is feeble by comparison. I donot like taking a certain trail like a maze to win victory, I prefer the old style, win any way you can by fighting whoever you want. For those of you who like the first series of WH games, I donot reccommend you buy any of the War Hammer 2 series. They are far different and I donot think you will like these.
