I feel it's a re-vamp of Sid's Pirates! But Don't get me wrong; this is not a bad thing. If a re-vamp is done well especially after this long and it's done right (like this game) then I instantly get drawn in that much quicker.

It's seems like an updated version of the Woody Two-Legs: Attack of the Zombie Pirates that the developers, Nitro Games released last year. It seems they added land combat, since I didn't see any shown in the trailer on steam. It's pretty fun, although you're out gunned by most ships when you 1st start out and it will take you a while before you can save up enough gold to buy a better ship. You should always buy a lot of potions if you feel like fighting other ships and exploring dungeons.
