Regarding the Mega Trainer 1.5, Unlimited Health, Endurance, No Tox....

Windows 7, 64 Bit, Fully Updated
No Anti-virus/spam/etc. Firewall Off. (per FAQ and forums)
Steam version of The Witcher. Fully updated.

1.5 Demo worked as advertised. I now have lots of gold

Bought the Mega Trainer 1.5 via the one free trainer when buying the registered Trainer Manager.

Downloaded (via website link after paying for the Trainer Manager), extracted, and when I run it (even when run as Administrator), here's what I get:

Checked properties of the wchr-IdConstantine.exe and made sure it was not marked as "Blocked". It is not.

Ever after the full version fails to run, I can execute the Demo and it fires up with no issue.

Have rebooted multiple times as well to no avail.

Suggestions as to what to try next?

The trainer was made for the retail (Boxed) version of the game, which uses an unprotected exe after the 1.5 update.

The STEAM version still has the game protected with STEAM after the 1.5 update. So the exe's are different. Hence the trainer may not work for you.

disable/uninstall all AV, firewall and other security software. right click and run as admin on trainer. something on your PC is interfering with the security template of the trainer, which is the only difference between promo and full version.

I just ran across a post that recommended redownloading the trainer just in case the 1st download was corrupt. The new download works!!! \m/

It's 2KB bigger than the 1st download if that matters.




1st download still fails to run. Both are in the same directory.
