I've only seen one topic on here about Modding in Borderlands, And it wasn't taken very well.

My opinion on modding is that modding and cheating shouldn't be used as a way to beat the game, but to enhance it if you've already beaten it.

And seeing how this website is a cheating website, cheats and mods shouldn't be put down.

I, for one, have recently started modding my Borderlands save games, I just started on friday. It's extremely easy to do.

I'm assuming that discussing modding isn't against the rules here, as trainers are released to unlock the best out of PC games.

Anyways, my point for adding this here is that if it is allowed, I would be willing to go into modding borderlands in more detail, for all who were interested. I have seen some tutorials around the internet, and I didn't find all of them to be very informative. Also, a lot of tutorials either don't provide links to the software they used, or the links don't work properly. I am willing to upload all of the software that I use to a link that will be monitered and alwasy working.

So, admin, if you could let me know if this is okay, than I'd be more than happy to help players get the most out of their games.

Also, I haven't tried going online yet, but the other post I saw about modding was about getting banned. So, as with all cheats, make sure to use at your own risk.

The ban fault2k got was from 2k servers not here. We don't disuade people not to mod games, infact some games have been better through modding, Gothic 3, X3, Freelancer etc.

Just as fault2k said don't use them online

Well, in case of anyone who is considering modding on Borderlands, I will do my best to explain how everything works.

The software that I use, and that I will be uploading, is:

Xbox 360 Hash Block Calculator

Firstly, if you don't have a transfer cable for your xbox 360 hard drive, but you have a usb laying around, or if you have the Xbox 360 Slim (which does not have a removable hard drive, and I'm not sure if the transfer cable works with it) You should do what I do, and format a usb drive to xbox 360. You don't need a whole lot of room on it, saves are very small files.

So, I have included instructions on a .txt file. Hopefully everything is explained well on there, but if you need me to post the instructions on here, or link individual files, than please let me know. Modding can be a great way to enhance your game after you've beaten it. Just make sure to make everything as legitimate as possible. After the latest updates, the game automatically gets rid of illegitimate items.

Maybe we can use this board for sharing our mods between eachother. I've seen one or two of those floating around the internet.
