I think this thread can be very useful, I can't make the trainer work, at least not in career mode. I do hear the "activated" sound, and the "on, off" when selecting the keys. I've even customized them so they're not the numpad keys and therefore so they don't interfere with controls that are used by the game itself.
So my first question is, has anyone made the trainer work in Career mode?
And the second question would be regarding the readme instructions, which I post below :
Using this Trainer
------------------
Launch the trainer first, then launch the Game and then Press F1 at the Main Menu. Listen for "Activated".
- DONE. Works so far.
Press desired option key
Numpad 1: Always First
Numpad 2: Freeze Timers
Numpad 3: Unlimited Flashbacks
Numpad 4: One Lap Races
DONE - I can hear the "on, off" sound for each option
Numpad 1: Always First - Forces you to win the race no matter what your 'real' position.
This is intended for normal races, not time trials, practices and any other mode
which may not follow the standard 'your position/total positions (eg. 05/24)'
format.
DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK FOR ME IN CAREER MODE, HAS IT WORKED FOR YOU?
Numpad 2: Freeze Timers - Kills all counters such as those found in time trial events. This is NOT intended to cheat laptimes which may be submitted to online servers!
SAME - DOESN'T WORK IN CAREER MODE, HAS IT WORKED FOR YOU?
Numpad 3: Unlimited Flashbacks - Allows infinite usage of flashbacks during a race. If you have depleted all of your uses, this code will make sure you regain the full amount!
HAVEN'T TESTED YET
Numpad 4: One Lap Races - Reduces races down to much more manageable lengths, removing boredom and repetitiveness. You need to use this a certain way (and NOT during a race).
Before the race starts (on the menus) you should be presented with a slider which lets you select the race length (number of laps). Activate this code, then move the slider (anywhere, it doesn't matter!) then de-activate the code, and hit to start the race. When in the paddock, you can confirm the new, shorter, length of the race by checking the HUD. Now race away!
ABOUT THIS OPTION: I'm extremely confused... Before the race starts. ehm, in career mode, you select practice, then qualifying, then race, so at which point exactly do you select the number of laps to aactivate and deactivate the code? for the whole thing, could someone do this with screenshots? because after this, in the paddock, there are many options in the paddock (Career, Agent, Event, Standings, Helmet, Grand Prix, Multiplayer, My F1, etc), at which moment can we confirm this and which "HUD" are you talking about?
Thanks for helping with this, it dcan make the trainer much more valuable.
Very best wishes,
Sergio
