I preordered it too. Picked up the first 2 plus the 2 "expansions" for $9 on sale as well just to complete the set. FEAR 2 is the only game that every made me scream like a little girl and drop my mouse. Stupid subway train.

I did pre-order it, but after the Duke Nukem Forever fiasco, I cancelled it.
However it does look good through trailers, let's just read a few reviews after it gets released and then decide whether to buy it or not.
Life is best for those who enjoy it, difficult for those who analyze it and worst for those who criticize it.

The F.E.A.R. story-line is great. Ahem, personally, the fictional content is to my liking. Anyway, the Duke Nukem for me is being cheesy and boring from the beginning it appeared... Overall, whatever the fiasco case was with the mentioned crappy game is crucial to acknowledge. Since the game critics are important elements to help us decide whether to buy or not buy the game... Anyhow, F.E.A.R. series are a lot better fictional first-shooter game than "Duke in the Crapper"... I mean Nuked the Crapper... um.. Duke Nukem...crap

Personally, I love the franchise, but John Carpenter is involved in directing the cutscenes and some of the creative direction for the horror elements of the game. Let me start the download so I can go to sleep, Steam! Damn youse!

just played a bit ...
well its not like the "old" F.E.A.R. or Project Origin its somekind of a mix between F.E.A.R.,Origin and Clive Barkers Jericho but as a hardcore horror fan i like it
