Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 Message Board  

Just bought this game on steam, and it appears I've been ripped off. I can't really see the huge difference between the 2012 version and the Magic The Gathering - Duels Of The Planeswalker. Also still haven't seen alot of new cards either. Thats why I'm here to check if those racer fast guys at cheathappens have allready made a trainer, but alas, seems I've beat you to it this time. Hope a trainer does come out though, cause I'm feeling like I've done all this duels before... I wanna see if there is anything new in this game.

I have been saying for 10 damn years Magill.... oh wait that was from Independence Day :P

But yeah I have been saying the last couple of days its only a rehash/re-release with updated graphics et al from the 2010 title.

But everyone is adamant that its a new title >.<

So perhaps they will read your post and realise it is just the same o same o :P

I wouldn't bet on it x.x;

It's a new game in the sense that Madden 2011 is a new game. Yes, it's still magic and features a lot of the same characters, but the decks mostly new cards, the engine has been updated and changed and runs much better, there's new game modes, etc.

It's not the same game, and certainly can't use the same trainers as the previous title.

Well, it is'nt mostly new decks. It has a few new decks (I've got every single DLC for the original both on 360 and PC), but mostly it's old decks with new grapichs/pictures, same stats though. You can however customize your deck waaay more than before, and there is a cool new look to the whole thing. But I would'nt say it runs better, it actually feels slower and no, it's not because I've got a bad computer either. I've got an ûber computer
Actually it feels more like an Ipad game this time around, not that the game is bad or anything, it just feels like it is made for a touch device.

Well i have been saying for the past damn ooooh wait. Have you checked it out yourself? Oh no, wait I guess not, you see one person that talks like you and you talk like you already know it. No its a new game, indeed like FIFA 09, 10, 11, 12, etc. A new game Is that so hard to understand? 💛

Hmmmm....it has new features, new graphics, new game stuff, online stuff, etc. Hey....does sound like all those sequals hahahaahah!Its a new game, please try for yourself before judging. But I guess we will never get a trainer for it.
