Can someone explain why Duke Nukem Forever came out on June 10th for international and why Duke Nukem fans in the U.S like myself needs to wait until June 14th???
IMO, 2K Games/Gearbox totally dropped the ball with the release dates for Duke Nukem Forever, Duke Nukem Forever is an American-developed game so I would expect it to come out first in the U.S. or have a joint U.S./international release on the same day...

All I can say is now you know how we feel with 99% of every other release date, even with non-US developed games. It's only 4 days. It could be a lot worse.
The Duke never comes early.

"“We have a commitment to our fans to get the game out as early as possible, and every day counts. New games are available on Tuesday in North America, so we’re getting the game out as early as possible in this territory. The international markets do not adhere to this release timing, and it just happens that they will be able to release the game a few days before North America. We don’t want to hold it back, we want to get it into the hands of consumers as soon as possible,” says Sinhaseni"

Even with that being the official reason for the international releasing going out first, I still think it's not that bad considering most games release in the United States first and it's the rest of the world that has to wait with the exception of games made in Japan of course.
EDIT: The above post was right, probably around 99% of the major releases come to America first. We're a large market for games and most speak English, so it's easy to release to us.

I think it's silly to base your opinion on a game solely by its review on a website. I don't trust review scores most of the time, I trust MY opinion.
