Just wondering if this game is any good. Unfortunately then I just bought it on Steam on a discount, and maybe now I think it was a bad buy.
    But what are your experience?

I haven't bought it yet, was waiting to hear some more opinions on it. Have you played it long enough to make a determination on how good it is?

Not sure why the other thread was locked.

The other thread was a trainer request, that's why it was locked. I'm waiting for some news on how this one plays too. It looks like a combination of some good games, but that doesn't necessarily mean much and it's only slightly under the price of a regular game, so it's a bit much for a never-heard-of-dunno-if-like title.

I also got this game off of steam. tbh i find it aweful. theres nothing to like about this game. everything runs slowly and i have a decent pc. loading screens take forever and the gameplay itself is incredibly simple.

Don't waste your money on this game. Its pretty much like a very limited Hearts of Iron for kids.

    Hope that helped...

Hmmm.... now I have played it some and have really mixed feelings - but mostly bad.

The game seems ... unfinished for lack of better words. Its not so much the bugs that bugs me, evene though there are some fairly hefty ones.

No its the fact that its fairly complex but there is no indication of what to do. At all. So you end up like a teenager who is with a partner for the first time: mostly you fumble around and hope that everything works the way its supposed to and that everything will work out allright by itself.

    Which it sometime does.

It just have a discount feeling and a non-existing story (as far as I have seen).
Which is quite okay if you were playing something like "Nuclear wars" from the previous milennium on an Amiga: I actually think that this game could have some of those fun sides. This includes the choice to manufacture and use ABC-weapons. Which IS fun - in a game, where you can distance it from reality.

The tech-tree is okay for a small price-right game that you finish in a matter of hours, but I dont know if there is enough variation to give this game more than around 10 hours of interesting playtime...

I went ahead and got the game. It's okay, nothing spectacular. I was disappointed that the map is only for Europe and North Africa, I was hoping for the whole world. It reminds me somewhat of Shattered Union, but not as good imho.
