Exodus from the Earth Message Board  

I arrive at the blown out road where the crane on the other side is suspending a concrete barrier. I am supposed to walk along the right side of the gap and onto the other side and work the crane to remove the barrier. THen I am supposed to go back , get in my car, and jump the gap.
I have tried to walk and jump across the short gap in the narrow walkway over a hundred times and always end up in the bottom of the gap. What am I doing wrong? Somebody please help me before I go insane.Am I walking on the right path? Is there something I need to do before I try to cross the gap? I already blew up the 2 turrets and killed the soldiers that were in the space on the right.
Help me please!!!!!
