Just a question what version of trainer should I use for combined operations i remeber last time I played I could not get any trainer to work any information would be greatly apperciated

Try the Operation Arrowhead trainers, they will work with the Combined Operations version of the game.

(essentially "Combined Operations" is just Operation Arrowhead with the original ArmA2 stuff included)
