I am using windows 7 (32-bit) with a fresh install and no anti-virus. I also have windows firewall disabled.
Here's my issue. I use the steam version of the Enhanced edition and everytime i activate the trainer when im at the main menu the trainer locks up and the "activated" noise starts repeating over and over until i kill the trainer. The game functions fine, just the trainer crashes. I have tried running both the game and the trainer in compatibility mode (xp), and run as administrator. None of this works. What is especially frustrating is that your free sample trainer does not lock up and functions normally. I reactivated my account for this trainer specifically.

[insert macro]
disable/uninstall all AV, firewall and other security software. you have something blocking/interfering with the trainer's copy protection.

I just realized i put this in the wrong forum, i meant it to go in the enhanced edition board. But thanks for the response.
I will repeat. I do NOT have any antivirus/firewall running. it is a fresh install of windows 7 with windows firewall disabled. I did not even download "microsoft security essentials". I can guarantee that i have nothing of the sort installed. I read the other posts and the troubleshooting page before i posted this, i promise.
Would the offline verification option fix this?

No, it would not. You can also try downloading the combined community codec pack. Disable Windows DEP. Check permissions on the Windows temp folder, etc. SOMETHING on your system is causing an interference, whether you believe there is anything installed or not.

I will definitely check those. i only meant i didnt have any software/firewalls installed. i know i have CCCP. i will update this post after i check DEP and the temp folder.
Edit: DEP is off. Temp folder has full permissions. I even disabled UAC. I did notice something else. The steam version of my game is 1.4.5.1304. Your trainers only come in the 1.4.5.1303 and 1.5 varieties. Is this a possible cause and has there been a workaround? Is the issue really your copy-protection? Being a clean install, i can't be the only person with this issue. I use a router with a minimal firewall that has upnp enabled. if you are telling me i have to destroy all protection on my network to get your trainers to work, im disappointed i paid again. Ive had this same network setup with other unlimited trainers in the past and have had no issue.
P.S. Is there some port i can open?

I too am having problems even opening this trainer. I think it has something to do with the download itself.
Like it's corrupt or something, maybe if Pwizard and company can reupload the trainer, it might work. I've checked all of the permissions too, so I don't know what else it might be that is causing the problem. I have no virus protection enabled or anything, Windows firewall is of too. I will figure out what is going on one way or another.

trainer is fine, something on your end is blocking it.
