If you bought this game on steam if you check the very right side of the store page you will notice that this game is protected by VAC. Is this real? Or a web page glitch on steam's end?
Hard to believe an indie game with 4 man multiplayer has vac :|

I bet the VAC thing is for online multiplayer only.
Tell me, Bats. What are you really scared of? Not finding the Commissioner in time? Failing to save this cesspool of a city? Me, in a thong?!

Has anyone been VAC banned for using this in single player? Guess I'll not use it to be safe. Thanks.

You don't get banned for using a trainer in single-player. I'm pretty sure of that.
If you're really worried about it, I believe there was a command line, "-insecure" that you could add to VALVe games to make all the games you host non-VAC protected. Might work for this game, might not.

One thing they warn of (at least unofficially, anyway) is that if you're cheating in a single player game, remember that the trainer or other method you're using to cheat with is fully removed from memory before going multi-player on a VAC-enabled server.

Thanks for the quick answers, from what i was reading on Steam is VAC bans are now game only, except for earlier games, counter strike. Thanks again!

I think if you use the command -insecure before you launch the game in where it says "Set Launch Options" it should make that go away even on single player mode. There are some games that'd detect cheats even in single player, but if you use that command, it should make it vanish for good....
