I have seen in previous posts that the game stores data for SP and MP online.
After checking EA's site, I can not find where internet connection is required.

Here is the system requirements link:

It does not list Darkspore at all.

Can someone point me in the right direction, as far as a link that shows internet access is required?

I am considering buying the game, but if it requires internet, I may not due to the fact that I might not be able to consistantly pay for internet.

Yes it does require you to be online, both for the authentication and for storage of data.

Here is the actual small print you missed :P

Also may I suggest getting from gamecards.eu it is listed at £19.95 (not sure what $ equivalent was but you can set to $) or around that for the game, just means logging into the EA downloader and redeeming the code (top right icon when using the application). There you can download from EA direct.

But have a look around you might find a seller closer to home.

EDIT: Found out it is $30.15 there. For a first time buyer they will have to give you a call to make sure you are who you are :P It is a painless process, but they do have great prices..

I think DA2 and Crysis 2 is the same price if you don't have them already.

Good place for EVE gametime cards or any other MMORPG.
