I have a legit steam version of the game.
If the trainer manager is running than the game won't even launch. It shuts down at the splash screen.
I tried running the trainer without the manager and the game launches fine. In game the F1 key works "With a Euro sounding voice now". Unfortunately none of the cheat keys make a voice or work at all for me.
Is this all because I am using my onlne microsoft profile? Anticheat measures?
I haven't tried it with an offline profile yet.
Strange that no one else in this thread is having these issues.

This is a Codemasters anti-cheat implementation, as with DiRT 2, not Microsoft's Xlive (for once)
So some people said the trainer works, i manage to get it to work after all the crashing and exciting the site, however using the Trainer is i wouldn't say worthless but using option 1/2 still messes up the game either it makes the cars dissapear or the camera fudges up the game and you can't even see the road. Like F1 2010 the trainer for that was excellent but i'm saying it's better to play the game without using the trainer.
Same here. Dirt 3 freezes and I have to kill process only when using the option 1. Trainer works great at all
