The storyline is top notch, I always like to do all the quests, but I keep getting sucked in and missing them, then I have to find an earlier save game and try it again, without getting ahead of myself.
The thing in the game I do not like so much is the combat, it goes from insanely easy to nearly impossible and this includes the same monster at the same level. What I mean by this is that the targeting system seems quirky at best. I will be in a group of monsters and kill one, next thing I know I am diving past the edge of the screen to kill a monster there, then back to the group to kill one there, then off the screen again, and all the monsters are dead and I am barely scratched. Say I reload the game and replay that very same battle, this time, the monsters keep me pinned to the ground until I am dead. No diving away, no rolling to avoid, nothing, just down, beaten and dead. I do not even understand the targeting principles of this game, a monster can be standing right in front of me stuck in a trap and I cannot target him, other times, monsters not even on the screen behind me that I would not be able to see anyways get targeted and there I go a caterwauling across the screen to blindly lay them down in a single powerful blow. then there is the adrenaline or whatever. I get it filled, use it and it is a mix between unbelievably deadly smack-down any movie legend would die of envy experiencing and a lame ass stand there looking stupid.
So, I stick with the storyline now. I boosted my character to the point that epic monsters simply die from my evil eye glare, and enjoy the story instead. Maybe later I can work on learning more about the combat.
