You're a Witcher not a Knight. Wearing metal armor would be counterproductive to their fighting style.

True, but it would be nice to wear some awesome looking armor once in awhile >.>
I'm more of the type of person who will wear armor or clothing that looks decent or good compared to a high spec armor or clothing that looks like it was made with the ugly hammer.
