Hi guys, seriously need some help here...
In the quest For a higher cause, I'm supposed to find a way to get to the sorceress but somehow I don't know how to get arrested. Tried everything like going into the camp full of soldiers and they only attacked me.
Looked everywhere and only found some gargoyles, runes, town and all, went to the sewer but the gate is locked so theres probably no way in.
Could use some advice. Thanks!

In the strip of shops that has the inn, mage that sells swords, and the alchemist mage shop there's a door at the southern end I believe. Walk inside the door. It's directly across from the that ramp you found leading down into the sewers with the locked door, but it's not the door guarded by the nilfguard duo.
tl;dr there's a door that looks like it leads to a house but it actually leads down into the sewers.

For future reference, if you want to take the arrested route, you have to disable the Vitality option and allow the guards to take your health down.

If you don't want to go through the sewers don't turn on the trainer and let the guards beat you up and once you get to a certain hp amount they will arrest you.

Hi guys, I am totally desperate. I have the same problem. I took the Iorweth side. We came to the city (blue marked area on the picture), went to the room where four gargoyles attacked us (purple). We beat them, then there was a stairs down to the cript where were some strange markings on wall. Then we went from this room to the right, we turned left the to doors, then right the big hall, then again left for the only one opened doors. Then there was a cutscene where 4 soldiers chat about Fillipa being arrested. Then Iorweth left and I don´t know what to do. There is only a golem (yellow) and I can´t get past the two temerian soldiers (2 red dots). I am really hopeless, I don´t want my stuff to get lost. So what should I do? Thx for the advice.
PS: The red lines indicate our movement thru the map.
EDIT: Lol, nevermind. I let get captured and I haven´t lost a single object or coin (so far). I ll report later. BTW I am playing on normal difficulty (medium).

I dunno if you figured it out (earlier post, not last one) but by disable the Vitality option I mean if you're using the trainer to have infinite health, you have to disable that option and allow the guards to hit you and take most of your health.
When your health gets low enough, a scene will take over where you'll be captured.
