I've said it before in another thread and I'll say it again...

    You guys and your hobbies...

Anyone know if companion's have infinite health? i.e. when you take Triss to do a quest in the forrest (no spoilers here Capt'n!), is she basically invulnerable? I haven't seen any health bar, or any of the messages in the bottom corner relating to her taking damage.

Given that Geralt and Triss are full-blown lovers in this one, I doubt you'll see the same ladies man from the first game.

I could be wrong; I'm not that far in. But my Geralt is true to his woman.

Anyone have any tips for fighting the Kayran? My controls feel a little sluggish, so I keep getting whacked by a damn tentacle before I can dodge properly.

When going for the last 2 tentacles.. Stay in the position where you hacked of the first 2. You cant dodge the swipe attack that the last 2 tentacles does.

Use Yrden sign and watch the tentacles double hit A or D, do the 2 nearest ones to you then the right one, once 3 are done whats left of the bridge fall's onto it (on the left side) run up it, the Kayran will keep trying to hit you while you run up the crap thats just fell on it but once you get up there Geralt sticks a bomb in it. job done

Yeah, I managed to get it not long after I posted for help. Though after I managed to start dodging in time, I then got trapped after two tentacles and got slaughtered by some kind of electrical effect. Killing that was damn satisfying, I tell ya.

But thanks anyway guys. Much appreciated.

If it is doing 'it' with Triss or anyone else, then know this, there are more than enough women and animations available throughout the game. Finished the game and tried all possibilities.
