Use #3 for Steam, it's still working fine.
3. WITCHER 2, THE - ASSASSINS OF KINGS TRAINER ENHANCED ED. (STEAM 05.10)
2. WITCHER 2, THE - ASSASSINS OF KINGS TRAINER ENHANCED ED. (R+G 3.4)
I keep getting the error "unexpected end of archive". Sometimes it's just the executable, other times it also has the read me, but always the same error.
Did you turn Off all anti virus and security programs?
I've just installed The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition via Origin, then updated to 3.3 and then 3.4.4.1 via patches from CD Project RED homesite. None of the trainers seem to work.
I have attempted several of the trainers, both Retail+GOG and Steam. Some don't do anything, while others cause a crash.
Version of the witcher2.exe is 3.4.4.1 with a MD5 Checksum of "d89edbe97f2916d6eeb5e08b0c6317e0"
All the normal "run as admin" and antivirus fixes don't have any effect.
Have any of these trainers been tried with an Origin issue of the game? Is there perhaps different locale variants? I can supply the .exe if needed...
try the top three trainers on the site.. if none of them work, then we don't have a trainer for your version. that would be like the 4th or 5th version of the game out there. we simply cannot update the trainer for 5 versions of the same game. this game makes you COMPLETELY UNINSTALL and then REINSTALL the game from scratch, all 15gb of it, if you try to have multiple versions of the game installed at once on your computer.. it's not going to happen. if you can't get any of the top three trainers to work, I suggest you back up to lesser version of the game that you find working trainer for or give up.
best,
