Hi PWizard,
I'm using the retail version (v 3.4 North America) of the Witcher 2 and I have been having a small but annoying problem for a while. I don't know if it has been posted elsewhere on the message board but it seems that the trainer removes the combat timer in the game for me. So my combat gets interrupted every time I kill something because the item pickup menu comes up or if there are torches or camp fires nearby, Geralt tries to light them. I've tried a clean reinstall, removing all my mods and playing without the trainer. The only time the combat timer comes back is when the trainer is off. Do you have any suggestions as to how I might be able to fix this problem? Is there something I can do on my end?
Thanks!

Hm... I have bought the Game on Steam; but the Trainer don't work
When I pressed F 1 in the Main Menue came not "Trainer activated". I have download every Trainer on the list but its every time the same
I used the Multi Edition from The Witcher 2 enchanched.
UPDATE:
I have installed the Game new , the trainer works fine.

Hi, I'm on version 3.4.4.2 GOG & I can't get the latest trainer to work. I've also tried the older ones but to no avail.
I get the "trainer activated" sound & the "activated" sounds but the options aren't activating.
Please help

Very strange... have the Steam version of the game installed, and the Trainer for that version works mostly (increasing Geralt's max carry weight worked in some in-between version, that has been replaced since, but now fails, so does additional money, the latter is no problem used ArtMoney).
I today also installed the GOG.com version of the game, the Trainer for it will not even activate via F1... hmmm.
Not expecting any fixes, since the game is older, just wanted to mention the issues.

None of the steam trainers are working for me. Clue?
Im pretty new to trainers.
My antivirus is not the problem, i have it disabled. I also get the trainer and option activated sounds but nothing seems to be working.

OK, this is weird.. I had the retail version, but just bought the Steam version on sale (so I can sell the retail version, and not have a box clogging up the desk). Anyway, the STEAM trainer failed to work - but the GOG trainer works fine on my STEAM copy!
I did copy some of the files from the retail version in to the STEAM download folder (to speed up download) but that shouldn't have made a difference. Oh well, who cares; it works well
Note to trainer newbie; make sure you set the trainer to run as administrator (right click on the trainer and select from menu).
