Hi guys I have been a long time unlimited member and have throughly enjoyed it. I downloaded the Witcher EE from steam last night to play through to get ready for the Witcher 2 so I wanted to get a trainer to help move things along. I looked at my .exe file to get the right number for the game and it says I have version 1.4.5.1280 so I downloaded that...get the trainer activated the crash on load. Came back and say that 1.4.5.1282 is for steam versions I have so I got it..same thing crash on load.

I have turned off my anti virus program when launching but that was a no go. I am using windows 7 64bit any help to clear this matter up would be greatly appreciated.

Have you even tried to update to 1.5?

I tried running the steam updater (verify files) but it did not update. Is there a way to manually update a steam version of the game?

Igot that trainer and for me it's working fine,no crushing so fare,only thing I sutgest try to run trable shuter program .I also have windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and directX 11 and yes U shold try to downlod patch 1.5

I have the same problem here. I recently bought the witcher digital enhanced version game on steam. its fully updated according to steam. I have several trainers from the site for other games.. They are all for unlimited users. Every trainer so far works fine.

But the Witcher trainers give me a headache. I know how to run a trainer, i did everything right, but still not even the steam version of the trainer would work.. It all goes well until i start a new game, then during load, it crashes. (CTD)

Finally i found, what i think is the problem. My Witcher.exe file in task-manager tells me that i have version 1.4.5.1304

There is no trainer for this version, however i thought that release on steam would warrant that.

As i read some forum posts, I downloaded patch 1.5, but when i tried to install, it says: "cant identify this version of the game, unable to patch" and it closes.

So.. i am stuck here.. any chance at al on a patch for any trainer, or perhaps a replacement or new one ?...

If not, no biggy, i just wont play this game, enough games left, but i would really like to play, if at all possible.

Well, infakt i've downloaded witcher ee via torrent, but its cracked, i've also downloaded fix for v 1.4.5.1280 but its still not working, i cann not find update to any other versions for which i can find crack no-cd/dvd pls help me guys, i really liked this game but unfortunatly it isn't quice co-orporative with trainer

same here... windows 7 64 bit. downloaded 1.5 patch, 1.5 trainer,,,crash... disabled my av and both firewalls. works well now. true.... gl
