The most recent shogun 2 trainer(3327) does not activate after I launch the game. I downloaded and extracted the trainer the same way I did with the Empire:Total War and the Napoleon:Total War trainers resprectively. I never had any problems with them. I am 100% sure that I am using the correct version.
Has anyone had a similar problem? Do I need to extract the trainer into the game folder directly perhaps?
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks

There has been a problem lately affecting some users with authentication, try using an offline key for now (make sure there is no net connection going on for it to work).
Also for a test try some other random trainer to see if you can actually run it.

I tried the offline key for both Shogun and Empires, both did not work. In addition I tried to use some of my other trainers and they are no longer working aswell.
I recently installed AVG on my computer and I have a feeling this might be the cause somehow. I tried uninstalling AVG in addition to removing all my trainers and try to download and extract them again. Unfortunatly even with AVG uninstalled none of the trainers seem to be working. I should add that before I did this i noticed that some of the trainers were even missing from their folders. I guess AVG might have stuck them in the virus vault or something.
Do u by chance know what might of happened, and\or how I can fix it?
Thanks a lot for the speedy response, and ur help with this, much appreciated^^

Yeah seems to be a problem with the authentication servers, btw the offline key will only work when the file is more than 0 bytes (check inside the .zip file to see it isn't 0 bytes) and place in same place as trainer and make sure you have no net activity at all.
For me I can use the trainers fine, but a small group of others can't.
Since I don't have access to the system so to speak I can't check to see what is the problem. Admins will have to do that.

Can you elaborate a little bit (typo?)? I had a problem: I am using Comodo Firewall with Defense+ - whenever I launch trainer, it instantly closes itself-, then figured out you need to turn off Defense+, adding to white-list doesn't solve the problem
