i was wondering, not long ago, what do you get for collecting all the briefcases? will you be able carry weapons at the beggining of every level? please respond.

AFAIK, you get nothing as some kind of bonus in game. But, if you have the console versions, you get achievements/trophies for finding them in various amounts.
