just so you know, this game is basically a MMO type game without the MM part. i have had the alpha and then beta of this game over 6 months. health and other information is stored server side on a darknet server so you cannot really 'cheat' this game

I had a feeling it would be, it is similar to how Age of Empires Online works also (except AoEO is a persistant world)

Well, I'm messing around with this game (beta) right now. Managed to hack DNA (the money thing) with a simple CoSMOS search. Though there is not much use for those.
Stats don't show up though. Might be stored on the server side (bad scenario) or encrypted. Will continue searching.

If Caliber says its server sided then he is very much right. You can continue to look if you want but it may be a waste of time

I doubt they're going to be encrypted, as if it's server-sided it's totally redundant. No-one will go to the extra coding lengths to hide stuff that doesn't need to be hidden. It'd be interesting to see what other stuff could be exploited though, if anything (I'm talking movement/action manipulation etc, as opposed to key stuff like health, stats and so forth).

almost all games can hack the gettickcount api's to increase movement speed, etc. however, this is usually a very highly scanned area to detect hacks.
i am not saying that the game will end up with server sided data in the end for 'single player' content. also, i have no idea if there will be an 'offline' mode. if so, then likely something can be done.
if you can 'start your own server' then that might be possible too.
at any rate, i am not 100% sure it's server sided, but this is what i determined using the beta and all the reversing that i did. if someone really did get 'unlimited dna' points then maybe i am wrong.
maybe phoenixCH can look at it himself and see if he is able to modify the 'legit' values and get them to 'stick' as i could not and i caught many references to darknet in the code and via reversing, where the healh was being updated from packets coming in from the inet.
right now you cannot play the beta without logging in, so there is NO way around the log-in server (and i assume the server controlling your game and storing the values)
maybe certain items like DNA points are stored locally at the end of a game. i did not find this to be the cause with MY reversing though-

I think it will end up server sided, as other players can be involved with the campaign, outside of the PvP stuff.
Thusly it is always connected online during gameplay so will want to record data also.
Since the saved game data is not local but on their server thats another big hint. Checked the Roaming folder for stuff, its mostly saved pics of your creatures and server data etc.
