the first game was mostly appreciated for it's art, not too surprising that it's sequel would be too.

I like the original a bit more than this one. But I'm not saying this one isn't good (the graphics are beautiful - especially when you first enter Wonderland from that drab looking late 1890s London setting in the beginning). I like the jumping and floating elements in this game. I'm just not liking the "lock-on" combat element. I'm not used to playing 3rd-person games like that. But the game requires you to "lock-on" to targets to use the umbrella block and I hate that. But that's about the only thing I have an issue with. The rest of the game is fine.
Kinda wish they'd make an open-world RPG Alice game with all the horror elements. Like Elder Scrolls Oblivion meets American McGee's Alice. The imperial guards could be replaced with the red queen's army of cards.
