Just thought I’d try some other ways @ trying to get this game to work properly(as a final Alpha game release should)
I tried with trainer’s all 3 but the game still crashed on ending turn even I might highlight without the said trainers on.
I tried data execution limits @ all levels via cpu & gpu still game crashed.
How ever found the culprit to be none other than Direct X 11 is the problem = the source code of this data program is over 10 years old?
which is why the game is crashing all the time as it is being emulated up from Direct 9/10 upto 11.
I informed SEGA & Steam of said findings which apparently they were fully aware of!!lol
So hope this helps + if you have older graphics card say 4 series then you can play this fine all the way to the end plus with all the trainers as I’ve tried & confirmed

You can't use DirectX 11 unless you have a DX11 GPU for a start off. Nothing is emulated, any procedures and functions from the DX11 library can be called upon only when a compatible GPU is present as already said.
Your crashing is more likely to be from other sources.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

well turns out, its the opposite, been doing some google surfing, turns out the game naturally installs in DX9 and no one can find an option to switch to DX11, and it is reported this causes some narly bugs/crashes with people like myself who have higher end cards. still can't find update as well =[

You still need Directx9c to play just about anything these days. It is not the same as the one that gets installed with the game.
Directx9c supports old legecy stuff that still hangs around in stuff when they compile these games, even new titles "might" require this.
Install it once and you never need to again.
You can download it here www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en

I was under the impression that any newer directx titles had the previous versions in them. I now that most games use differ code and then directx has updates to accomodate those titles for smoother gameplay, but all those updates are usually in the initial install. My game works fine and my rig has a GTX275 (dx10) and I maxed out all options that was available to me. My advise to most, check out all the programs you have running and shut them off when playing (spooler/updates/spam guard...etc etc, you can even turn off you anti-virus) and just leave your firewall up.
If you can't say it face to face, don't say it here!!

The only way to get Directx9c is to install it yourself.
Like I said some games do not require it, but even some new titles do. Even DX10 & DX11 game smay still require Directx9c, it all depends on how they complied the game.
I have had it installed for so long I can't really tell you what new ones do. But my last reformat I ran into issues and the first title that needed it for me was Aion.

I have only the newest Direct X installed and a Radeon 5970. No Problems.
They said there would be a DirectX11 patch soon (tm) which could maybe solve some of your problems.
