Well,i finally figuered it out. You have to find a key. They really should put that in the main objectives.If you don't have said key you can't get through the gate.It dosen't even say "locked" or "need Key"

I had to go back numerous times for that little inconvience.
Just sayin.

A key needed? Hm, I didn't need a key, I just fired a shot at the lock and the door opend...

Yeah...i tried that too. plus grenades,rocket launchers...

Didn't work until i found a key.

Probably should mention where you got the key, in case someone else has the same issue.

yea i didnt get a key either i didnt even hear about haveing to get a key just shooting the lock on everything you need to enter no mater the place

Well,it could be a glitch or i may have missed something...
But,nonetheless,i needed a key. So,while on the subject,in a previous post in case this happens to you...

I found the key in between two buildings in an alley way. It is a car key that unlocks a vehicle.
I jumped off the rooftops and went to my right if memory serves.
I believe it was on "lab rat" or "gate keepers"

the key your talking about is the hidden key that are placed on the levels like the cars and souvenirs i don't know y that would matter if for you to proceed

Well,as i stated before,it might have been a glitch.
All i know is i couldn't get through until i had the said key.
