Shogun 2: Total War Message Board  

I just opened shogun 2 for the first time today and it needed updating from steam before playing...I checked the official Total War forums and the steam product updates page and no news about a patch! I opened my game and it says version 3270...I'm just wondering if everyone else got the update or did Sega update mine only after the mass of customer support emails i.e steam dumps and save games i sent them they only bothered to update my game hehe XD
Oh please no one reply and say: "I'm waiting for the new trainer"
because i don't care for impatience and am a very satisfied CH customer. I just posted this to see if people have heard the news because I want to check the patch news to see what CA specifically fixed in the new patch.

yes SEGA updated the version to the "1.0.0.32720" thought that this patch will bring up the directx 11 features but hell no.... and for the trainer i dunno if it works, maybe the guys here should wait for the directx 11 update to make a new one just my 2 cents

I'm just happy to see a patch. Hopefully this will fix the late game crash issue.

According to the News site on Steam, the patch was aimed to fix some glitches on multiplayer. Anyhow, I tried to see if the current trainer works on the updated game. It crashed as I tried to start a game.

Anyone experiencing end turn CTDs? I checked the official thread and the major fixes were for multiplayer.
Wondering if the single player campaign issues were sorted out..
I'm running a campaign now and everything seems to be working fine (cross fingers)

Same issue here, game crashes with the current trainer running.

Confirmed. The new build says 3272 and current trainer crashes the game.

Actually, i don't think he was sarcastic. Just confirming the Fact that the trainer (without any second thought) is not working atm and putting a compliment in the post...

Edit: Btw, is there no chance to get a console in this game? in every other Total War there was a Console (Toggle_fog and so on), so i was quite sure Shogun 2 would have the same.
Edit2: Looks like I was wrong, Empire didn't have a Console, too. Oh Well...
