Shogun 2: Total War Message Board  

Hi everyone,

i'm posting this topic since i've met some troubles with the game and the trainer.

I launch the trainer, i launch the game, once on the main menu F1 to activate the trainer, i start a single player long "domination" campain and i start play.
Everything works fine, the game as well as the trainer.
Then when it's enough i save the game, close S2TW and i close the trainer.
The very next time i want to play the saved game i have this 2 problems:
1 - if i launch the game and not the trainer, as soon as i try to load the saved game Shogun 2 crash.
2 - if i launch the game, with the trainer already working, i'm able to load the saved game and i can play the turn i loaded with or without using the trainer which, if used, works perfectly in all it's functions.
But when i press the end turn button, the game plays every AI opponent turns and after the last one it crash.

Mine crashes at the end of AI's move as well. I am stuck on the 108th turn.

i dont believe this is a trainer issue but a game play issue. it appears once you take kyoto or you are around 90-100 turns it has issues

I have not had any of these issues since the update. Sorry to hear about your problems.

I have the same problem, but neither do i think it has something to do with the trainer. My game crashes constantly, after i have taken kyoto and have to defend it for 4 turns...

It's a game bug.
Many people experienced it, event without a trainer. We wait for a patch...

yeah that's right......is a bug if u control Kyoto by any means, the problem start......mine is a notification about I'm loading the saved game without authentic copy of Shogun 2, which of course a non-sense, I purchased the game from STEAM !!
you have loaded a game saved without an authentic copy of Total War Shogun 2 installed. Consequently, the game may become unstable. bla bla bla.......

does this issue only happen when you take kyoto ?

i wonder if the game will still crash if you take all provices except kyoto
