    Hello,

I've googled a fair bit before posting but i cannot find much about it.
Its said that i should open the console and type con_restricted 0 (or =0)
I tried both after opening the console and it tells me that its an unknown command.

Could anyone shed some light on how to enable the ingame cheats?

And yes, my game is legal and patched (1.1)

You _should_ be able to go to your game installation folder (probably C:\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2) and open system.cfg in Notepad. Then add the line con_restricted = 0 and save.

It goes without saying, of course, that you should have exited the game beforehand.

I can confirm that this method will not work. The game will register the command but it will not unlock all the console commands. Also, cheats will not activate if you put them into the autoexec.cfg file.

I can confirm that as well! Con_restricted is not recognised, neither are commands in autoexec.

Anyone find a fix for this yet? I've been looking for an answer for hours now.

I beat the game already, now I want to own it with cheats. D:

Crytek shut down the cheats through a patch because people were using them in multiplayer games. Hopefully in the summer when they release the SDK so people can mod it, they will have a real fix for multiplayer cheats and can turn it back on

What?!?? O.O Isn't there a way to disable console commands ONLY through multiplayer but keep it active on single player?

Has anyone tried in version 1.8 for Crysis 2?
