Crysis 2 Message Board  

I cant see any models ingame, cant see my hands, cant see people around me. Anyone have a fix for this? i dont wanna download crysis again it takes forever with steam

to me that sounds like a video card problem

I fixed it by reinstalling over steam, took some time But yeah the sound is weried i have to look some specail ways to hear anything in a convesation. Ohh well patches will come to fix it, i hope at least

I had no gun in my hand at one stage, and just restarted the game at the last checkpoint and that fixed the problem.

The reason you have to look in different directions to hear conversation is probably that you have your sound output set to 5.1 (surround sound) but you are only using two speakers (headphones, maybe). Conversations are usually routed to the "center" channel in 5.1 sound, and that channel doesn't exist if you're only using two speakers.

Try right-clicking the little speaker icon in your tray and go from there. You should be able to put your sound into stereo. You'll have to do this BEFORE launching the game, not while it's running. Good luck!
