    hey sharp911,

I think the game is worth the money. I haven't played multiplayer yet, but the singeplayer campaign alone is worth the money. I do find that the developers could have spent some time creating more different units. That might still be able in upcoming patches and maybe in the form of DLC. The modding community for total war games is also incredible, so i'm expecting some mods to start popping up soon.

Hope this helps you in your decision.

    Regards,

    Apoc.

more units? the game is fine with the current units. It's all about strategy my friend.

Great game, great graphics, fun battles. I prefer the single player, since I think the multi player is a little slow and not up to par.

I didn't mean like more of the same units, I would just like to see more different kind of units. But i'm not sure if that would be historically accurate. And I agree this game is all about strategy. You can expect to lose every battle by going in with just a cavalry army. You will need a diverse army, I for one use 5 yari samurai(spear), 5 katana samurai(sword), 5 bow samurai(archers), 5 horse guards(cavalry).

The Demos a good way to go with any game that your not 100% about. Having more "different" units always works for me.

One thing i've noticed personally is that unit movement on the Real Time Battlefield is so much smoother. Compared to previous Total Wars like Rome and Medieval 2, units actually get around much faster and there is none of that glitchy cavalary turning [M2TW].
