How does one activate the console in Crysis2 the tilde key doesn't work, what file do you edit to bind the tilde to the console?

I am not sure, it worked for me with no edit's. Someone did suggest, Ctrl+Alt+tilde, in a previous post, you can see if that helps.

Do you have to enable dev mode for the console like the original crysis?

yea i hear some ppl have the issue where they cant have the ~ work and others do i think but i may be wrong is where you got the game like from d2d amazon retail ect. but im not 100% on that one i dont have that issue and i have the retail issue

i was able to do it with LEFT shift , and tilde at same time

Tried every combination of ctrl, alt, and shift, both left and right, and still can't get console to work.
