Shogun 2: Total War Message Board  

Alright so, my game crashed on the 108th turn. When I press the turn button, the game stops responding and crashes. It's the trainer's fault. But mine mostly. I misused it. I smashed the trainer keys as the turn was skipping, as I have forgotten to turn off a cheat before skipping the turn.

Fortunately I had saved the game on the 108th turn. I turned off the trainer, loaded the game back up and I got rid of all the unit and building productions..etc anything that related to the trainer's cheats. Still a no go. So I turned on the trainer, and loaded the game back up again, and this time I smashed on the keys I pressed before the crash, just in case it might be a problem in the codes. Still no go.

Anyone experience this?

It's from the game, not from the trainer.
Many people experienced it, even those who don't use any trainer.
Wait for a patch, as we all do.

Either turn 108 or 109 is when the game finaly turned on me...
Usualy seems to happen either just b4 or just after you take Kyoto

nononono the thing that is causing this is the unlimited movement cheat, everytime you use it, it crashes to desktop

Sorry but that is extremely old news and was fixed seemingly ages ago (3 days seems like an age now) Just redowload the trainer and movement works fine

Yeah, this has been happening to me. I have yet to finish an entire game. I have played through 4 domination campaigns, and in every single game I get this issue either right after I take Kyoto, or if I am sieging Kyoto the game will crash when Kyoto is down to 1 turn left on the siege.

I have only used the trainer on one of these playthroughs. The irritating part of this issue is that I like to leave Kyoto for last and conquer the rest of Japan first.

Ah well, I hope they release a patch soon so I can finally finish a game.
