Crysis 2 Message Board  

just bought it this morning and everytime the game tries to load chapter 4, road rage, it crashes. tried over a dozen times, even tried in admin and lowering the system specs. it always crashes.

I just installed the game having gotten it from Gamestop via UPS delivery. Anyway the game launched fine the first time but I decided to exit it to register the limited edition stuff on there website to get the items and what not. After registering it I launched the game again and it is now downloading a v1.1 patch as I type this. Did you get this patch already? Of course I won't know if I have the same issue until this patch update and I actually start playing it...lol.

Been playing it, but I have to go to work, Oh well, guess I will listen to the kick ass soundtrack on the way to work

yeah i got the patch.

i got the level to load by doing reload level, though of course i lose my weapons when i do that.

but straight through playing on my copy it's impossible to go from mission 3 to 4.

Only thing I regret about this game is, no power struggle mode in Crysis 2. Man that was my fav. multiplayer mode

Fine for me, got mine via EADM. To get the most out of this game you really need a very nice system to get everything maxed out to enjoy the effects etc better.

But mine had patch 1.1 included, so didn't get that problem with the 4th mission.

EDIT: And before people ask.. I bought a legit US key from a supplier, hence why I can play before the 25th :P Funny site, buy in euros or pounds get EU version, buy in dollars get the US. So as you can imagine I bought in dollars

No prob here. Game was patched by EADM and I've been playing it just fine. Online play is superb. Single player could use some texture tweaking though. Also how do you get to play it with DX10?

No problem with my boxed version after the 1.1 update.
