I can't get past the AA part on Guadalcanal defending Henderson Airfield. Everytime I shoot down tons of zeroes, but I suddenly die, or at least go to the "press fire button" screen. It always happens just as the guy is radioing in how bad our situation is. Am I not doing something?

you have to defend the hangars...but I don't know how cos I am stuck in the same place!!!

as soon as you take controll of the aa gun int the top right of the screen will be 2 dive bombing zeros. they never seem to get destroyed but after them will be about 6 more just ignore all other planes and keep firing in the area they came from.

Ensure that You are at the correct AA gun - not the first one you find. You need to go through some kind of trenches along the airfield and kill some japs to get to the gun You need to.
Then You just have to shoot down japanese planes. It is not necessary to shoot the dive bombers, but it is also not very difficult and it counts as hidden objective (when none of the hangars is hit).
The most important thing is to shoot all the zekes hunting for the catalina (the black two engine plane).

well this might be kindia crazy but i passed it by i did NOT DEFEND THE HANGERS right when it exploded i called the medic he came to me and healed me before i died and it saves games and you do your next objective

You need to be on the bofors gun, the large slow firing AA gun. Once on this gun, look straight ahead and up in the sky at ~ 60-70 degree angle.

You will then see the dive bombers as they start their run at the hangers. A Small lead below and to the left is all that is needed to shoot them down.

Once I figured this out, they went quickly and easily.

i just cant pass this aa gun objektive.. i shoot as many plane as i can but i always die as a voice tells me they are too many...
