Assassin´s Creed: Brotherhood Message Board  

Most likely it's because of uPlay. The game is from 2010.

Any other way?

What happens when you install it via the retail DVD? If you have Autorun disabled in your OS choose your optical drive and double-click setup.exe or whatever .exe file you find.

Last time i installed and played ACB with a working trainer i installed the game via Uplay. Dont know if you can play or install this game without Uplay. But i have fixed my problem, that is trying to get a little extra money with the trainer. And then save and close the trainer, i dont need health or ammo. But i got some extra money some other way. So my problem is fixed. But the trainer is not working with the Uplay version then? I want to add that i have had very little problems with the trainers over the years. Used many of them. You know, when you get as old as me you can't sit hours after hours playing, so "we" the oldies need some help every now and then. Again, thanks guys. o7

I too found that the trainer would not function with the 1.03 Uplay version of the game. I did, however, find a workaround:

1. Download and install the Uplay verison of the game.
2. Purchase the Steam version of the game, also download and install it.
3. Copy the ACBSP.exe file from where the Steam version is installed (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Assassins Creed Brotherhood)
4. Overwrite the ACBSP.exe file where the Uplay version of the game is installed (C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Assassin's Creed Brotherhood) with the one from the Steam version. (I backed up the Uplay version of the file, just for good measure.)
5. Uninstall the Steam version of the game.
6. Request a refund from Steam for the game. They should not have a problem with this since you haven't clocked any time on the game. You can even be truthful and state that you already have the Uplay version.
7. Launch the trainer, launch the game and enjoy!

I've verified that the Uplay version works just fine with the Steam .exe and the trainer works as expected. I know it's a bit of a pain, but it's what worked for me. I'm going to keep a copy of the ACBSP.exe file, in case I ever want to uninstall the game, but then play it in the future.

Don't know what is causing it, bt the game keeps crashing when i activate the trainer
Does not matter if i am playing or on the main menu
I have previously used CH trainers with Brotherhood and have not been disappointed
It must be something with the latest patch
When i checked my files (through Steam) it mentioned something called Punkbuster being added
Don't know if this is something to worry about
I have already posted an update request
Hopefully you guys will be able to get around whatever is screwing with our enjoyment of Brotherhood

Please use the trainer option request system for requesting new options be added to this trainer and/or vote on options already requested.

I checked back through the previous posts and couldn't find any mention of this, and to be honest, it's not a huge deal, but the AC: Brotherhood trainer shows up in the CH Trainer Manager as "Assassins Creed," rather than "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood." Again, not a big deal, but it did have me confused for a bit looking through the list for the Brotherhood trainer.

Maybe this post will save someone else some time looking.
