Is there anyway to change the settings so that the camera can be controlled by the mouse or the attack command isnt the same as movement, so that i dont keep running past attackers rather than attacking them. The camera i want to be controlled by the mouse so i can run which ever way i point the mouse.

No you can't and i think the camera is alittle buggy too.
Oh and if you press and hold the right mouse button you can move witch ever way the mouse points.

Oh nice, I didn't pick up on the "R" key yet. Thanks!
I agree, pause was the best solution I found to ensure I'm attacking an enemy rather than running past it.
On a related note- I find its really annoying that companion or ambient dialog is constantly cut out if they aren't in the camera's range. This includes them being about 5 feet behind me. Is there any options that will allow me to hear what people are saying without having to stop and wheel my camera around to face them, or running with the camera looking behind me? Even with subtitles on, they don't show up unless I'm facing them.

Edit: Checked "Force Stereo" to fix my dialog problem if anyone else was having the issue. Guess with 5.1 sound one or more of the channels wasn't working properly.
