The war is near! I've been checking out screens and video dairy of the game play but still, is this game worth it? If they had a demo out..... Any one going to get this?

Ive preordered it on steam want to see if they deliver on the dramatic game story and such that is being talked about.

Want a good shooter and a good story and hope homefront can deliver it, and if not always going to be crysis at the end of the month.

Poor America being Invaded by the Russians wasn't good enough in Red Alert.

They had to be invaded by the Chinese in Fallout 3 and the Koreans in Homefront.

Who is next?

Canadians?

Mexicans? Oh wait that's already happening :P

Don't forget the when Russians invaded America in Modern Warfare 2!

In the Korean version of Homefront America is invaded and I quote:"a certain northern country", sounds like Canada to everyone but the game devs...

Had it preordered...started playing at midnight...short answer...YES...I've only heard of 2 reviews so far (Zoo & Official Playstation Magazines) but they both gave it 9/10 and I'd have to agree after playing about 2 hours...powerful stuff...

just played after the steam patcher finaly squeezed the 1MB thru the line

well the beginning is very cinematic but the gameplay is not that cool as I thought it would. Ok nice shooting but I feel to miss some kind of atmosphere. Perhaps that will come.
To sum it up for me the game is a bit disapointing. Hope it gets a bit better....just running around and shooting ....

Not worth it. Less than 5 hours of game play, story ends way too early, there just is not enough there.

Fortunately I bought it and got Metro 2033 included, and that has so far been much better and longer.
