Haven't found any info on this but I remember back when HL2 was in the works and a beta was released or something that they delayed the release to rework some of it or something. As you can tell I can't recall the full details. Anyway my question is will the leaked "beta" cause there to be a delay in the final or will it be released in march as advertised? FYI: I don't condone the "beta" so don't ask any questions about where to get it, I'm pretty sure the staff here feel the same way.

Well I think that it isn't going to be delayed, after all the Crysis 2 is a hit game, and it would be bad to delay it after all the money and efforts put on creating the game, the sooner it comes out, the sooner Electronic's Arts pockets are full of money, that just capitalism

They haven't changed or published any different release dates to what they already had out there, if that's any help.

my main worry is that with the base code out the multiplayer hack and cheat sites already got the things done before it hits the shelfs it was the main reason why i never got into the multiplayer side off it. Still i preordered and will enjoy the single player

Doesn't make much difference though. The major MP hack folks would have had releases out fast at any rate. A day or so, won't make any real difference.
As for the original question, I doubt it. Crytek/EA are still on target for the original release date. They've also stated that this hasn't deterred them away from future releases on the PC at all, and that they'll continue to develop for the platform.

That is good news. I'd hate to have to wait forever for a game to come out again. Had to do that with HL2, and well we've all been waiting for Diablo III to come out. Glad to see the devs won't quit because some prick leaked the test version. Hope that moron got fired too.
