Though I found it. Seems the trainer link(steam) on the first page was for an older version and the newer one v034 doesn't work for steam.

Trainer is working. However, after only a few minutes the CPU gets bogged down, can't close game or start task manager. Twice I've had to hard restart computer. I uninstalled the game. It never used to do this. Anyone else having problems with the now outdated but still cool TDU2?

Ya my game does the same thing. I think the game detects a "cheat" and either lags the game or you drop into the ground repeatedly.

Sucks, but there's nothing that can be done but restarting and trying again.

It is at least possible for all time cheats. I use a resource to add or take away time and it works flawlessly and the game never recognizes it.

As far as tweaking race AI not sure if it's possible or we just need an updated trainer (?)
