Seriously, why do people play this game? After level 2 it gets so annoying and unplayable.....You always get kicked, punched and blown away so far that you find yourself flying and falling down a cliff and dying. You are ambushed by dozens of enemies and they gang up on you and squeeze you in a corner where you cannot of course do nothing more than try and spot your health bar in the crowd and watch it go down in seconds. And even if you manage to reach the end.......It is so difficult to defeat Death when he chases you around and kills you with one swipe of his scythe (even if you have infinite health).........The game is more frustrating than fun if you ask me. It is only fun when you play with friends (because you can let enemies chase them around......)

i've had the game for about a week and the only problems i'm having with it are the bugs that seem to pop up when i really don't need them to, but the game is fun, it's basically built around multiplayer where it both shines and frustrates u, the idea is to play with others to get the full experience and play as a team, or die horribly because someone accidentally used the wrong spell and now ur nothing but a few giblets on the floor. i found the odd humor a good addition to the game and made it more bearable at the hard times.

Yes the game is obviously much better in co-op since it was desinged for that even though it is still much fun alone.

Enemies ganging up on you? Maybe blast them off with full water AOE. How about an lightning/ice shield around you to damage and stop them. Perhaps some arcane mines to disperse them quickly? Some earth barricades and cold to hamper their movement can't hurt either.
I could go on and on of the possibilities. THAT my good man is why people play this game, the endless possibilities of the spells all available to you.
It just sounds like you need a bit more practice.

Death does seem like a bad mofo at first but once you discover his weakness, it's not that bad. Experimentation and discovery are the name of the game. Don't get stuck to the single steambeam or whatever. Use all the elements at your disposal.

Well as of now I have paid at least 20 hours into the game. I have done every possible combination and I must say.....it is way more fun than I thought....Although using an xbox controller is not that convenient as opposed to the keyboard, but still.....really fun. And with a couple of friends joining you it becomes a real party.
