Took me about 26 tries to get through that section the first time. the next two times I played the game it only took me 2 tries to get it right.
You got the "right,left,right.center" part correct...you also need to steer Issac up and down (W,S keys)to make it through the center and through the green square and the white "light" at the end of the travel.
Don't give up on it..you can do it!

It is good practice for the easier no-grav flying at the end in Chapter 15!!!

About 20+ tries is right. WASD control is crap in that sequence. The green square in the next to the last obstacle was real hard to line up for. Figure about 10 tries just to find out what they expected you to do at various points in the sequence. I crashed into the very first obstacle about 4 times before I realized that the direction controls really did work - sort of...

I hope it's easier with a gamepad on a console otherwise I gotta ask "who the hell thought this would be a fun experience for the player?" It's way more difficult than any boss I encountered on my first playthrough.

4th play through and I got it the first time!
You really got to steer with the up and down keys (W,S)to make it through the "donut,green area and final white area.

newgame+ only starts a new game, you can't directly jump to chapters.
