To an extent yes they are idiots, they should have beta tested it before it launched but since it is such a small Indie title they probably didn't bother.

This is pretty much modus operandi for paradox. They make obsidian games look bug free.

Steam needs to put something in place to prevent this type of software from being released and sold. It clearly wasn't finished and now all the people that bought it are basically guinea pig beta testers. We see more and more titles like this, and most of them are on Steam.

Well, most small developers (and more and more big developers) release products before they're ready and fix later. It's just cheaper, easier, and more efficient. With steam's easy ability to update without the end user doing anything, it makes it even more enticing, and steam isn't going to lose anything from it happening or gain anything from stopping it. Just another sad facet of the industry as a whole.

i remember a couple of years ago that one of the AAA titles released would not launch. It was an actual bug in the .exe that would not let it play. it actually made quite a few head lines on the tech sites.

Think I am just going to uninstall this game. What really bugs me is that I told Steam not to update the game, and it did so anyways.

    Thanks Steam
